This is Hydrangea. I took this picture in the beach park of Iwami. The appearing color of the flower is different according to ph of the soil (acidity and alkalinity). When acidity is strong, blue drives it. When alkalinity is strong, red drives it. I think this is very interesting! If the ph of the soil is not same, the color of this flower is not same, too. In the beach park of Iwami, there are many colors of this flowers. I don't know why I can find many colors of them. I want to know the reason of this.
In Japan, there are meaning for each flowers. In case of Hydrangea, it is Patient Love. Is this interesting, right?;-D
